Under PSSR 2000, businesses, owners and users of pressure systems 0.5 bar above atmospheric pressure are required to demonstrate understanding of safe operating limits (principally pressure and temperature) of their systems, and that they are safe for use under those conditions.
Users need to ensure that a suitable written scheme of examination is in place before the system is operated. You also need to ensure that the pressure system is examined in accordance with the written scheme of examination.
Our integrated approach delivers high performance manufacturing and
installation solutions for our clients
The British Compressed Gas Association (BCGA) states in its Code of Practice 39:
“it is necessary that there is an appropriate on-going examination, maintenance and inspection regime to ensure the equipment remains safe throughout its in-service life.”
- Orbital Fabrications can provide a written scheme of examination that complies with PSSR 2000.
- Orbital Fabrications can carry out examination of all parts of pressure systems included in the written scheme of examination on an annual basis or at intervals specified within the written scheme.
