Electrical Technician

Role Summary:

This role is based within our Production facility in St. Ives, Cambridgeshire. The technician will provide panel wiring and electrical assembly/sub assembly for our growing customer base, working to design schematics.

Objectives and Responsibilities:

  • Wiring to electrical schematics.
  • General electro-mechanical build and assembly.
  • Working closely with small existing wiring team and with Production to ensure projects are delivered successfully.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • City & Guilds, BTEC in electrical / electro-mechanical engineering or equivalent qualification / experience.
  • Electrical / Electro-mechanical assembly background.
  • Understanding of electrical schematic engineering drawings and principles.
  • IT literate.

Essential Skills:

  • Electrical / Electro-mechanical assembly.
  • Excellent practical and technical skills.
  • Understanding of electrical drawings and principles.
  • Ability to manage a varied workload efficiently.
  • Work well as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills.


Experienced Hand TIG Welders: 
We require experienced hand TIG welders capable of welding small intricate stainless steel assemblies and keen to gain new skills in semi-automatic orbital welding. Must have ability to work from engineering drawings. 

£12.00 to £15.00 per hour


Orbital Welders:  To undertake orbital welding of stainless steel tube from 1/8” OD to 1” OD.  Experience of the semi-conductor and pharmaceutical industries an advantage. Must have ability to work from engineering drawings.

£12.00 to £15.00 per hour


Installations Project Engineer: This exciting new role will be working alongside our Installations Manager and will be fully supported by our experienced installations team.  The role will be based in our St. Ives Headquarters and involves co-ordinating all on-site activities including quotations and costings, site surveys, purchasing, project management, customer liaison, Health & Safety and documentation.  The successful applicant will come from an engineering background and will have a proven track record of project management.  Experience in mechanical services an advantage.  There will be some requirement to visit any of our UK sites.


Pay for all positions dependent upon experience.
