Orbital Fabrications has been offering specialised orbital welding services and micro TIG welding and fabrication services to the Semiconductor, Pharmaceutical, Aerospace, Chemical and allied industries for over 20 years.
Due to our continuing growth we have recently moved into bigger, purpose built, high tech premises in St Ives, Cambridgeshire. Our new premises houses one of the best-equipped workshops in the country, including a cleanroom and machine shop, enabling us to continue to meet the ever increasing standards demanded.

- Orbital welding of tube 1/8"OD to 4" OD and above
- Manual welding of all tube and pipe sizes
- Welding of stainless steel, precious metals, high nickel alloys such as AL6XN and Hastelloy
- High and low pressure gas distribution systems
- Gas cabinets for inert, flammable, corrosive and toxic gases
- Point of use gas panels

- VCR manifolds for gas trays, VMB's and gas cabinets
- High and low pressure gas bottle pigtails
- Helium leak testing
- Chemical Etching and Passivation
- Electro polishing and mechanical polishing
- Class 1000 cleanroom with localised class 100 cleanroom specification
- On-site installation of 316 Stainless Steel, copper, ABS, polypropylene, PVDF and PFA

As well as carrying out work for you in our workshops, the vast experience of our highly skilled team means we are able to provide a comprehensive on-site welding and installation service.
Orbital Fabrications operate procedures to BS EN ISO 15614-1:2004, BS EN 1418 1998, BS EN 287-1:2004, ASME PBE, ASME IX and JIS B8243. This, together with our continuing investment in the latest equipment and training makes us one of the leading companies in our field.
